Liam was only 29 years old when he died unexpectedly on November 16th, 2025 while in Los Angeles, CA.

Liam was born and raised in Denver, CO. He graduated from Lakewood High School in 2014 before moving to Oxford, MS to attend the University of Mississippi. In 2022, Liam was admitted to Columbia University, fulfilling another long-held ambition. He finished a degree in Political Science in 2025.

Those who knew Liam described him simply as “impactful”.  He was such an adventurous kid-at-heart with a unique, magnetic personality.  He was genuinely kind, empathetic, and present.  He loved deeply and was deeply loved by many.

Liam’s final dream was landing a job with an entertainment management Company in Los Angeles ,CA.  He was a confident optimist with aspirational dreams.  He often described his future as becoming the most successful congressman, having a big home with a beautiful family and living a spiritually guided life.

May his spirit continue to guide us to follow our dreams, stay true to ourselves and be kind to others.  As he watches over us, he will be a reminder to let go, love, laugh and dance.

He is survived by his mother Gina Self, father Casey (Sara) Murphy, brother Connor Murphy, sister Mikaela (Scott) Flanagan, nephews Stone and Locke,  and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
