Lily Eamtim passed away on November 13, 2025, at PIH Health due to congestive heart failure. She was born in Hebei, China, and lived a life marked by strength, humor, and deep love for her family.

Lily was strong willed yet comedic, always able to bring a smile to those around her. She cared deeply for her loved ones, including her cherished dog Gin Gin, a chihuahua and Pomeranian mix who remained dear to her heart.

She had a diverse and accomplished career. Lily taught high school physics and chemistry, earning a meritorious award for excellence in teaching. She later worked in financial banking processing and retired as an employee of Bank of America. She also worked as an optician, bringing care and precision to each role she held.

Lily would want to be remembered as a loving grandmother and great grandmother. Her devotion to her family was always evident, and her presence will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her husband, Chad Eamtim, her son David Sha and daughter in law Jessica Sha, and her granddaughter Sybil Jones with her husband Eric and their son Emmett as well as her granddaughter Serena Sha. She is also survived by her daughter Julie Sheaffer and grandchildren Victor, Jacqueline, Kevin, and Elizabeth Sheaffer. Lily and Leia, her great granddaughters through Jacqueline, also survive her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, her beloved son Victor Eamtim, and her dog Gin Gin.

Lily’s life was a gift to her family, and her memory will continue to guide and comfort those she loved.
