Linda Roberts was born on December 23, 1946, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and passed away on April 22, 2026, at Desert Regional Hospital in Palm Springs, California, due to pneumonia.

Linda was a gentle, honest, and deeply caring woman whose quiet strength and unwavering love left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her. She was soft spoken, kind to all, and carried herself with grace and integrity throughout her life. She believed in doing the right thing, always treating others with respect and kindness. If she had something to say, she said it honestly and sincerely.

Linda was an avid reader who especially loved Stephen King novels. She could finish a thousand-page book within a day or two and would already be ready for the next one. She also treasured spending time with her beloved dog, Wolfie, whom she had cared for since he was only a few weeks old.

Professionally, Linda worked for many years at Aerojet Aerospace as a senior buyer. Even after retirement, her strong work ethic continued as she worked for more than 20 years with Securitas Inc., where she was known as a dedicated and model employee.

One of Linda’s proudest accomplishments was returning to college later in life and graduating from Citrus College with a bachelor’s degree in business. Her determination and perseverance were an inspiration to those around her.

Above all else, Linda was a devoted mother and the heart of her family. To her son, she was more than a mother. She was his rock, his inspiration, and his guardian angel. No matter how tired she was after working overnight shifts, she would still show up whenever she was needed, whether for a doctor’s appointment, a phone call, or simply to make sure her loved ones arrived home safely. Even during her final days in the hospital, her concern remained focused on the well-being of her family.

Linda will be remembered for her pure heart, her honesty, her gentle spirit, and the unconditional love she gave so freely. Her absence leaves a tremendous void, but the memories of her kindness and devotion will live on forever.

She is survived by her son, David Roberts; daughter-in-law, Tracie Ozenbaugh; brothers Charles White and his wife Pam, John White, and Dale White;  her grandchildren Marie, Anthony, and Kimberly Roberts; along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Mary White; her sister, Claria Conant; and her ex-husband, Joe Roberts.

A remembrance of life will be held at a later date.

When God took her, He not only gained an angel, but a soul that was honest and pure of heart to the fullest. There will always be a hole in my heart until we meet again. I love you, Mom.”  -David
