Loretta Cardoza (Pinto) Crisfield, born June 15, 1931, in Central Falls, Rhode Island, to her parents Joseph and Diolinda Pinto, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2026, at the age of 95, leaving behind a legacy of strength, joy, and unwavering love. Born with an energetic spirit, Loretta believed deeply in staying active — whether through daily walks, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, or simply keeping herself moving and engaged with the world around her. Her vitality was a defining part of who she was.

On June 28, 1952, Loretta married William Crisfield Sr., with whom she shared 58 years of devoted partnership. William preceded her in death on January 2, 2011, but their long and loving marriage remained one of the great foundations of her life.

Loretta is survived by her daughter, Kim O’Brien of Winchester, California, and Kim’s husband David O’Brien; her son, Albert Crisfield of Mendon, Massachusetts, and his wife Leigh Martin; and her son, William Crisfield Jr. of Ontario, Canada, and his husband Jin Shin.   She is also survived by her four cherished grandchildren: Kyle O’Brien and his partner Kayla Skellett of Bridgewater, Massachusetts, Emma Crisfield of Providence, Rhode Island, Rory Crisfield of Mendon, Massachusetts, and Liam Crisfield of Uxbridge, Massachusetts. Loretta leaves behind two beloved great grandchildren, Jax and Kallie O’Brien, who brought her immense joy.

She touched each of their lives with her warmth, humor, and steady encouragement. Her family will remember her as a woman who embraced life fully, cared deeply, and inspired others to do the same. She will be profoundly missed and forever loved.
