Lorraine Christine Luna was born on May 23, 1946 in Del Norte, Colorado, and passed on April 1, 2026 in Temple City, California, from natural causes.

Lorraine took great pride in her life as a wife, mother, and grandmother. Family meant everything to her, but things weren’t always perfect. Nonetheless her love was steady and unwavering. In the moments that mattered most that love could be felt, even without words.

She found joy in the simple things—crochet, needlepoint, and watching a good Korean drama. Her love of crochet meant that just about everyone she loved was gifted something made by her hands, regardless of how much her hands trembled with time. Holidays were especially meaningful to her, and she showed her love through baking, thoughtful gifts, and spending time with her family. She found comfort in the rain but never quite made peace with lightning. Despite all her courage, spiders and heights remained her lifelong nemeses.

She is survived by her husband, Claudio; her daughters, Benita and Rosie; her sons, Raymond and Terry; her 11 grandchildren, all of whom she loved deeply; and her cherished dog Bruno.

Lorraine will be remembered for a love that was steady, quiet and lasting-A love that remains with her family always.

A memorial service will be held on April 28, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Nativity Church, 3743 Tyler Ave, El Monte, CA 91731.
