Louise Henderson passed away on July 26, 2026, in La Mirada, California, due to complications following a stroke. She was born on February 28, 1947, in Alexandria, Louisiana.

Louise dedicated her career to nursing, where she cared for others with compassion and commitment. In her free time, she enjoyed watching classic television shows and listening to gospel music, which brought her comfort and joy.

She was known for being very sociable, reliable, and honest. Louise was straightforward and never hesitated to speak the truth. She believed in thoroughly looking into every situation to ensure she had the facts before reaching a conclusion. Her wisdom, strength, and dependable nature made her someone her family and friends could always count on.

Louise's greatest accomplishment was the love and care she gave to her family. As a compassionate and considerate mother, grandmother, and daughter, she always put the needs of her loved ones before her own. She worked hard to provide stability, guidance, and support, teaching valuable life lessons through both her words and her actions.

She would want to be remembered as a woman of God, a loving daughter who faithfully cared for her mother, and a dedicated mother and grandmother whose strength and love helped shape her family.

Louise is survived by her daughter, Sharon Parrish, and her grandson, Dante Funches.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Clara Henderson, and her son, Mark Steven Gibson.

Her family finds comfort in the words of 2 Corinthians 5:8 (NKJV): "We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord."

Louise will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
