Madison Paige Powell, a cherished daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on January 24, 2026, in Los Angeles, California, at the age of 24.

Madison was a loyal sister, a devoted daughter, and a true friend to many. She adored her nieces and nephews and treasured every moment spent with them. Madison was known for her radiant smile, infectious laugh, and tender heart. She was quick to offer an apology and just as quick to extend forgiveness, reflecting the depth of her compassion and grace.

Madison grew up in Waco, Texas, where she was a talented athlete. She played softball for Midway High School and competed with the Texas Strikers select softball team during her high school years. She was a member of Antioch Church in Waco. After graduating from high school on May 25, 2019, she attended the University of Arkansas, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology on May 12, 2023. Following graduation, Madison moved to Los Angeles, California, to pursue her dreams as an entrepreneur. She was intelligent, fiercely independent, and strong-willed, facing life with determination and courage.

Madison’s spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her parents, David and Amy Powell of Cleburne, Texas, and Christine and Steven Kling of Waco, Texas; her grandparents, Lynn Powell of Laguna Park, Texas, Fred Ouellette of Waco, Texas, Paul and Karen Koonsman of Gordon, Texas, and Judy Bishop of Ada, Oklahoma; her sisters, Macie Powell of Waco, Texas, Carissa Kluczynski (Justin) of Waco, Texas, and Ashley Rhodes (Aaron) of Alvarado, Texas; and her brother, Jackson Kling of Waco, Texas. She is also survived by her uncles, Tony, Wesley (Charie), Michael, Chris, Fred (Martha), Brian (Mike), Jon (Jennifer); her Aunt Becky; and her beloved nieces and nephews, Adalynn, Axton, Skylar, Willow, Evelyn, Baylor, and Parker; and cousins, Josh (Ciara), Hanna, Freddy (Kat), Melissa (Rob), and Alexa (Joseph).  Madison was blessed with countless treasured friends whose lives were brighter because of her presence.

Madison was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Pat Powell, and her maternal grandmother, Hilde Ouellette.
