Mark Good, 81, of Frisco,TX passed away on May 17, 2026. Mark was born on June 6, 1944, in Nashville to Philip and Eleanor Good. After graduating from South Portland High School, he went on to study Agricultural Business and Economics at the University of Maine — with a brief but memorable pause to sharpen his skiing skills alongside the Colorado Ski Patrol.
Shortly after graduation, Mark began his career with Sperry New Holland in 1968, starting a remarkable 37-year journey with the company that would later become New Holland. In 1970, Mark met Pamela Grim and married later that year. This began a 55-year adventure filled with love, laughter, several corporate relocations, and three daughters: Stephanie, Jeanne, and Judie.
Mark was a force of nature — determined, hardworking, and always focused on providing the very best life for his family. He approached life with the same energy he brought to the slopes and the boardroom: full speed ahead, with confidence and just enough stubbornness to make things interesting. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, and he made sure they knew it every single day.
Over nearly four decades at New Holland, Mark held a wide variety of leadership roles thanks to his adaptability, sharp business sense, and ability to fix just about anything except a remote control. Starting in the service department and eventually rising to Vice President, he played an important role in the company’s growth and success. Through every move and new city, Pam remained his steadfast partner, turning each house into a home and every transfer into another memorable chapter together.
Mark had a way of making people feel welcome, valued, and entertained — often all at once. Whether through his work, friendships, or time spent with family, he shared kindness, wisdom, and the occasional perfectly timed one-liner.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother.
He is survived by his loving wife, Pamela Good; his daughters, Stephanie Ramsey and husband Derek, Judie Eggl and husband Jason, and Jeanne and fiancé Ryan Rimmer; and his beloved grandchildren, Jack and Cooper Eggl, Henry and Eleanor Ramsey.
Mark will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him. We envision him in heaven with a glass of Bogle merlot wine in hand, proudly watching over his family, probably offering a little advice nobody asked for and enjoying every minute of it.
No formal service will be held. Mark’s ashes will be spread at his favorite beach in Puerto Vallarta at a later date, where he shared many happy vacations with his family.
In lieu of flowers, the family knows Mark would rather everyone keep their money in their wallets — a sentiment he strongly believed in — so they kindly request no donations.
