Martha Lee Entz passed away on July 3, 2026, in Snohomish, Washington, after declining health due to the onset of dementia. She was born on February 7, 1945, in Coalinga, Fresno County, California.
Martha was a quiet and kind soul whose gentle nature touched the lives of those who knew her. She found joy in life's simple pleasures, especially spending time with cats, soaking up the warmth of the sun, and listening to her favorite music.
Among the accomplishments she held most dear were her time serving in the United States Army, the life she shared with her late husband, and the compassion she showed by caring for stray cats. She lived with a caring heart and believed in treating others, and animals, with kindness.
Martha would want to be remembered as a kind and compassionate person. Her gentle spirit, quiet strength, and love for those around her will remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
She is survived by her sisters, Cheryl and Alice; her sister-in-law, Sharlee Entz, who had also been her best friend since they were 13 years old; two nieces; and multiple nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Marvin Entz, Robert Entz, and Larry Entz, and by her sister, Edith Entz.
A memorial service will be held on September 24, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Tahoma National Cemetery, 18600 SE 240th St, Kent, WA 98042.
Martha's kindness, compassion, and gentle heart will be lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
