Martha Herrera was born in Mexico on April 30, 1962, and passed away on December 1, 2025, in Gardena, California.

Martha was known for her strength, her generosity, and her deep love for her family. She was a devoted mother and a loving grandmother to Liam and Isaac. Always willing to help and endlessly hardworking, she carried herself with quiet resilience throughout her life.

She cherished caring for her dogs, enjoyed shopping and walking, and was devoted to caring for her mother. One of the moments she held closest to her heart was being able to travel and reunite with her brothers after more than 20 years apart.

Martha would want to be remembered for her bravery, her strength, and the love she showed even through pain. Her family will forever remember her laugh, her voice, the foods she made, and all the little habits and moments that made her “mom.” She was deeply loved, and she leaves behind memories that will be held close always.

Martha is survived by her husband, Alfonso Herrera; her daughters, Aracely Echeverría and Ileana Herrera; and her grandchildren, Isaac Avendano and Liam Echeverría. She is preceded in death by her father, Juan Soriano, who passed on May 7, 2003, and her mother, Soledad Marquez, who passed on March 27, 2025.

Martha will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by her family.
