A Memorial Mass will be held on June 8, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, 22021 Gault St, Canoga Park, California 91303.

Martin Garcia was born on November 4, 1961, in Zacatecas, Mexico, and passed away on May 11, 2026, in California due to health complications.

Martin worked as a farmer, landscaper, carpenter and printer technician throughout his life. He enjoyed working on cars, watching NASCAR, gardening, and having a good time with family and friends.

Although he could appear serious at first, those who knew Martin best knew he had a loud sense of humor and was often the life of the party. He was strong willed and stubborn at times, but he was also always willing to help anyone, no matter their situation.

One of Martin’s proudest accomplishments was being married to his wife, Trini, for 41 years. He passed away on their anniversary, May 11th.

Martin would want to be remembered for the joy he brought to others and for always staying true to himself. One of the sayings he lived by was, “Don’t forget where you come from.”

Martin is survived by his wife, Trini Garcia; his son, Jairo Garcia; his daughters, Vanessa Jones and Mayra Garcia; and his four grandchildren.
