Michael Christian was born in Laporte, Indiana, on March 6, 1953, and passed away in Plano, Texas, on October 21, 2026, after a battle with cancer.
Michael was a funny, caring, and dependable man who loved his family above all else. He was a gifted storyteller, a creative thinker, and a knowledgeable historian who enjoyed sharing what he knew with others. Thoughtful and intentional in the way he lived, he was a giving person who worked hard and strived to do what was right. His greatest pride was his family, and the time he spent with them was among the most meaningful parts of his life.
Art was one of Michael's passions, and he especially loved painting. He also enjoyed watching football, particularly cheering for his favorite team, the Rams. Music was another source of enjoyment, especially the Beatles. He appreciated life's simple pleasures, including a good pizza and a nice cold beer.
Michael spent his life in the pizza business, gaining experience in nearly every aspect of the industry. From delivering pizzas and making them to owning restaurants and working in marketing, he built a career around a business that remained a central part of his life.
Michael is survived by his beloved wife, Kathy; his daughters, Julie and her husband, Ethan, Jennifer and her husband, Donnie, and Jody and her husband, Travis; his sister, Judy; his niece, Jenny; and his nephew, Scott.
