Obituary

Michael James Fallin, 47, of Carrollton, Texas, entered the presence of his Savior on July 24, 2026. While his passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, his legacy of unwavering faith, servant leadership, and unconditional love will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know him.

Born and raised in El Paso, Texas, Michael was the beloved son of Theresa Fallin and the late Norman Fallin Jr. He graduated from Texas Tech University, where he earned a master's degree in economics. Michael was an intelligent and thoughtful man whose quiet strength, integrity, and compassion were evident in every aspect of his life.

In 2006, Michael met the love of his life, Angella. Their friendship quickly grew into a beautiful love story, and they were married on February 21, 2009. Together they built a Christ-centered home filled with laughter, faith, and unconditional love. Michael was a devoted husband and an extraordinary father to their three sons, Mason, and twins Alex and Aiden. His greatest joy was spending time with his family—whether cooking together, playing games, sharing meals, or simply creating lasting memories. He loved his wife and boys with all his heart, and they were the center of his world.

Michael faithfully served the Lord through Prestonwood Baptist Church for many years. As a dedicated member of the orchestra for over 20 years, he glorified God each week through his gift of playing the violin. In 2024, he was ordained as a deacon, a calling he embraced with humility, dedication, and a sincere desire to serve others. His quiet faith, faithful service, and Christ-like example left a lasting impact on his church family and everyone privileged to know him.

Outside of church and family, Michael enjoyed listening to music of every genre, cheering on the Texas Tech Red Raiders, playing tennis when he had the opportunity, and preparing meals for those he loved. He found joy in life's simple moments and had a gift for making others feel valued, welcomed, and cared for.

Michael is survived by his loving wife of 17½ years, Angella Fallin; his sons, Mason, Alex, and Aiden; his mother, Theresa Fallin of El Paso, Texas; and many extended family members, dear friends, and his church family. He was preceded in death by his father, Norman Fallin Jr.

Although Michael's time on earth was far too short, his life was one of remarkable purpose. His steadfast faith in Jesus Christ, his love for his family, and his heart for serving others will continue to live on in the countless lives he touched. His family finds comfort in the promise that they will see him again, whole and rejoicing in the presence of the Lord he faithfully served.

A celebration of Michael's life will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in Faith Chapel at Prestonwood Baptist Church. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor his life, celebrate his faith, and give thanks for the extraordinary husband, father, son, and friend he was.
