Obituary

Nahid Daneshmand was born on November 28, 1956, in Ganaveh, Bushehr, Iran, and passed away on September 12, 2026, in Murrieta, California, after a battle with cancer.

Nahid was a bright and social spirit whose warmth and kindness made people feel welcome. She was a true social butterfly with a radiant smile and a gift for conversation. She made friends wherever she went and had a bubbly way of bringing people together.

Nahid found immense joy in the world of beauty, turning her passion for art into a lifelong career. Her clients appreciated not only her exceptional skill, but also the warmth, laughter, and uplifting energy she shared with them. Her passion for beauty extended beyond her work. She was also a published author of How to Become a Professional Makeup Artist in Facial Balancing, sharing her expertise and artistic vision to help others feel confident and beautiful.

Throughout her life, Nahid developed her talents in beauty, handcraft arts, and baking through years of dedication and passion.

Nahid Daneshmand was the first cosmetology and grooming instructor in Iran to be named an exemplary instructor (ranked first) by the National Skills Festival’s evaluation committee—which, for the first time, selected top instructors in this field across three ranking tiers.

Above all her accomplishments, she was most proud of raising her two children and pouring her love and devotion into being a mother.

Nahid loved art and baking, and she brought beauty, sweetness, and joy into the lives of those around her. She will be remembered for the love she gave, the art she created, and the lives she touched. She will also be remembered as a devoted and proud mother, a talented artist, and a genuine, caring woman who made people feel seen, welcomed, and loved.

Nahid is survived by her husband, Mohsen; her son, Arshia; her brothers, Reza and Saeid; and her sisters, Farokh, Mahrokh, Parirokh, Farideh, and Fariba.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Shahrokh; and her son, Yashar.

Memorial services have been arranged by her family. A service will be held in Iran on Thursday, September 24, 2026, followed by a family service in North Carolina on Sunday, October 4, 2026, and a service arranged by her husband in California on Sunday, October 11, 2026.
