Nicholas Murphy was born in Blanco, Texas, on October 10, 1942, and passed away in Riverside, California, on October 3, 2026, of natural causes.

Nicholas was a helpful, caring, and intelligent man who brought knowledge and a kind spirit to the lives of those around him. Throughout his life, he shared his willingness to help others and his wealth of knowledge, leaving behind memories that will be cherished by those who knew him.

Nicholas enjoyed reading, gardening, and computers, interests that reflected his curiosity and appreciation for learning. He also dedicated his career to public service as a civil servant, contributing many years of work in service to others.

Nicholas is survived by his son, Liam Murphy, his daughter in law Cynthia Murphy and his nieces, Amanda Murphy Pedroso and Abigail Saben Murphy.

Nicholas’ ashes will be scattered in a beautiful place in the mountains or at sea, honoring his memory in a setting of natural beauty.

He will be deeply missed for his knowledge, kindness, and caring spirit and the memories he leaves behind will continue to be treasured by all those whose lives he touched.
