It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Ofelia Ragusa, who left this world surrounded by family and love. She was a bright, cheerful light who filled every room with laughter, warmth, and kindness. Her outgoing spirit and joyful nature touched everyone who had the honor of knowing her.

Ofelia Ragusa was born on September 15, 1957, at Rio Hondo Memorial Hospital and passed away on February 11, 2026, in Desert Hot Springs due to an aneurysm.

She worked in cosmetology. Ofelia’s passions were her kids, jewelry, and dancing.

She was the life of the party, happy, outgoing, cheerful, and dependable. Her proudest accomplishments were her kids and family. She would want to be remembered as someone who loved her children and family deeply. She found joy in spending time with her kids. She would also want to be remembered for her strength and resilience, as well as her kindness and generosity.

She will be remembered for her infectious smile, her generous heart, and her ability to make everyone feel special and loved. Whether it was a family gathering, a spontaneous adventure, or a quiet moment shared with loved ones, Ofelia made every experience brighter and more meaningful.

Ofelia’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of her children Sebastiano Ragusa, Giovanna Ragusa, Marisa Ragusa, and Santino Ragusa, and all those she held dear.

Though she is no longer with us in person, her spirit and the love she gave will remain with us always.
