With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ok Cha Allred, who passed away on August 30, 2026, in Carrollton, Texas, after battling illness. She was born on March 17, 1953, at #693 Wachon-ri, Amtae-myon, Sinan-kun, Chonra-namdo, South Korea.

Throughout her life, Ok Cha was known for her strong work ethic and determination. She worked as a machinist, seamstress, and chef, bringing dedication and skill to each role she held. She took pride in working hard and providing for those she loved.

One of her greatest joys was gardening. She found peace and fulfillment in caring for her garden and enjoyed watching it grow through the seasons.

Ok Cha was hardworking, opinionated, and steadfast in her beliefs. She approached life with determination and remained true to herself. Those who knew her respected her strength and admired her resilience.

She is lovingly survived by her brother, Sang Seok Park of Chuncheon, Gangwon-do, South Korea; her sister, Ok Sun Park of Paju, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea; her daughter, Melinda Brown and her husband, Billy, of Elmore City, Oklahoma; her daughter, Diana Richardson of Jacksonville, Florida; her grandsons, Taylor Richardson and Billy Brown; her granddaughters, Allison Richardson and Elizabeth Brown; and her two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Hwa Chong Park; her mother, Ok Sim Chon; and her brother, Sang O Park.

Ok Cha's strength, dedication, and love for her family will be remembered by those who knew and loved her. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her family for years to come.
