Pamela Ann Murillo was born on September 7, 1951, in Phoenix, Arizona, and passed away on April 17, 2026, in Los Angeles, California, after a courageous battle with breast cancer.
Known to many as Pam, she found joy in life’s simple pleasures: cooking, watching movies, spending time at the beach and in parks, and appreciating graffiti art. She was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan and loved Mexican food and culture.
Pam was also a huge fan of Elvis Presley and enjoyed music from Eric Burdon and The Animals. Among her favorite films was Gone with the Wind, a classic she dearly loved. She also found comfort in timeless television shows like The Twilight Zone, Gilligan’s Island, and Dark Shadows. Pam worked in several fields throughout her life, including as a med tech, at U.S. Bank, Wyatt’s Restaurant, and in property management. She took particular pride in her time as a med tech, where she was able to help others, something that meant a great deal to her.
Pam was chatty, vibrant, and full of laughter. She was a social butterfly with a gift for making others smile, while also being stoic, dependable, and deeply nurturing. She was always willing to lend a hand and went out of her way to care for the people around her. Her family was the center of her world, and she was especially proud of her son, grandchildren, and great-grandson, who brought her immense joy.
Pam would want to be remembered as a loving and gentle soul who wished only good for others. A homebody at heart, she cherished peaceful moments at home, especially with her beloved dogs.
She is survived by her son, Ismael Jaime Murillo; her grandsons, Ismael Murillo Jr. and Isaiah Murillo; her granddaughter, Fatima; and her great-grandson.
Pam will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
