Patricia Lynn Graf, age 76, of Palm Desert, California, passed away on September 24, 2025, in her home. She was born on February 16, 1949, in Houston, Texas, to Allen & Doris (Lacy) Knepper.
She graduated from Central Methodist College and went on to serve as a nurse for the next 44 years. An avid reader, baker, artist, devoted mom to both her children and those who needed a mom.
She is survived by her children, Matthew Irwin & Deborah Katz of Los Angeles, CA, Mary Graf & Zachary Cross of San Diego, CA, her sisters Nancy & William Vance of Dallas, TX, Jennifer & Dallas Fisher of Des Moines, IA, nephew Allen & Gina Vance of Los Angeles, CA, and numerous other family and friends who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial will be held at Willie’s Modern Fare on November 2, 2025, at 10:30 am. A family funeral will follow in Dallas, TX, on November 25, 2025.
An avid animal lover and proud supporter of public media, the family requests that in place of flowers, donations can be made in her name to either PBS or The Cantu Foundation of San Diego, CA.
