Beloved  mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister and friend, passed away surrounded by the love of the family she cherished.

Patricia’s greatest legacy was her family. As a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she touched the lives of generations with her love and presence. Her family will remember her with affection and gratitude, carrying forward the memories and traditions they shared with her.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, James Carey; her son, Brian Burge; her daughter, Sheila Rickel; and her grandson Matthew Carey.

She is survived by her sons, Donald Carey (Char), Gerald Carey (Marina), Rick Carey (Van), Mike Carey (Char), and Jim Carey (Cassandra); and her daughter, Kim Hough. She also leaves behind many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Patricia’s life will be remembered through the many people who loved her and the generations of family she leaves behind. Though her absence will be deeply felt, the memories created throughout her life will remain a lasting part of her family’s story.

Rest in peace, Patricia Mae Carey. You were deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
