Peggy Fleishman passed away on August 16, 2026, in Irving, Texas, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on September 28, 1960, in Irving, Texas.

Peggy found her greatest joy in her family, spending time with the people she loved, and pursuing spirituality and self-betterment. She had a generous heart and a genuine desire to bring people together, creating a sense of community wherever she went. She was kind, reliable, and dependable, always ready to help others and always wishing she could give even more than she was able.

Peggy's proudest accomplishment was raising her children and providing them with a loving home from the very beginning. She encouraged each of them to become the best version of themselves, all three of whom went on to earn college degrees. She was also an avid collector and a gifted creator of home crafts, finding joy in creating meaningful and beautiful things for those around her.

Above all else, Peggy wanted to be remembered as a loving mother who wanted the very best for all of her loved ones. Her family shares that her greatest wish in life was simply to be a good mother. That wish became her legacy. She was a devoted mother to her children, and they are eternally grateful for the love, guidance, and encouragement she gave throughout their lives.

Peggy is lovingly survived by her mother, Margarete Melton; her brother, Thomas Melton; her son, Eric Neal; her daughters, Laurie Clark and Haley Fleishman; and her granddaughter, Chloe Clark.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles W. Melton; her paternal grandparents, Ida Exora Melton (Arnold) and Charles William Melton; and her maternal grandparents, Emma Lehr and Herbert Veith.

Peggy's kindness, compassion, and unwavering love for her family will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
