Peter Hernandez was born on April 19, 1976, in California and passed away on January 20, 2026, in California, following a heart attack.

Peter was known for his big personality and great sense of humor. He was very funny and definitely “out there,” always in a good way, and he had a natural ability to bring energy and laughter into any room. Sports were one of his greatest passions, especially basketball, though he loved anything related to sports.

He dedicated much of his life to coaching, where he became a mentor and role model to many. Peter was also a hardworking and driven businessman who took great pride in building and running his own chimney company. These accomplishments meant a great deal to him, but nothing compared to how proud he was of being a father.

Peter deeply loved his daughters and spoke of them often. Being their father was his greatest joy and proudest achievement. Through his leadership on and off the court, he showed others the importance of commitment, teamwork, and heart.

Peter would want to be remembered as a great leader, someone who inspired others, worked hard, and lived with passion.

He is survived by his daughters, Jasmin Ziegler, Sabrina Ziegler, and Prescilla Ziegler.

Peter will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. His spirit, humor, and leadership will always be remembered.
