Prentiss Johnston
Obituary

Prentiss was born at home on Dubonnet Ave in Rosemead, CA on the 21st of May 1986. He was a happy child and spent his early years in the company of his siblings and in the same neighborhood with his grandparents. At 6 years old he relocated to Salt Lake City with his family.

Prentiss was challenged with learning disabilities, but nonetheless he was very mechanically inclined and worked in the auto repair field for many years.

Prentiss was very close to his older brother, Avery. They were almost inseparable.

With the untimely death of his brother, Avery, Prentiss suffered from mental health and addiction issues.

Prentiss returned to Rosemead to stay in his late grandparents' house in 2023. There, on the night of August 8/9, Prentiss lost his final battle with mental illness.

Prentiss, you will be dearly missed. Not the least for your kindness to animals, patience and kindness to the elderly and your work with the homeless and downtrodden.

Rest in peace, till we meet again in glory.
