Randy Allan Holt, born in Stockton, passed away in Westminster after a battle with Liver Cancer.
He had an inquisitive mind and a passion for learning, always drawn to the stories the world had to offer. He loved sharing tales of his travels and adventures, weaving them into moments of connection with others. With a playful, prankster spirit, he delighted in bringing laughter and lightness to those around him.
He carried a presence that could not be ignored—bright, bold, and full of energy. He was a storyteller, a spark in any room, and someone who lived life with a certain fearless unpredictability. With a mischievous streak and a tendency to push the edges, he often left people laughing, even when they didn’t expect to.
He also carried burdens that were not always visible, struggles that shaped his path in ways both difficult and profound. Those who loved him saw not only those hardships, but also the glimpses of goodness beneath them—the moments where his warmth, humor, and humanity came through.
In his passing, we find peace in knowing he is free from those burdens, and remember him for the light that remained within him.
He took great pride in the life he built with his family, including his marriage and the years they shared together. Above all, he was most proud of his two daughters, whom he regarded as his greatest accomplishments.
He also cherished periods of his life spent in the church, where he sought purpose, community, and a deeper understanding of himself and the world around him.
He would want to be remembered for the good days—for the moments when his light, laughter, and true spirit were most present.
He is survived by his two daughters, Sarah Mullen (née Holt) and Hannah Holt; his son-in-law, Patrick Mullen; his brother, Ronald Holt; and his nieces, Krystal Holt and Breanna Joyner.
