Raphael Eugene Lusk passed away on July 1, 2026, in Seattle, Washington. He was born on June 27, 1973, in Detroit, Michigan.
Raphael worked as an advocate and dedicated much of his time to helping others. He was passionate about rocks and gems and was a strong advocate for people experiencing homelessness and those who were less fortunate. He was also a talented artist whose creativity brought joy to many.
Raphael was a quiet and kind person with a caring heart. He never met a stranger and was always willing to help anyone in need. Known by many as "the Mayor," he was well loved by those whose lives he touched. He lived life on his own terms and stayed true to himself while always making time for his family, especially his children.
Raphael would want to be remembered as a kind and caring man who helped others without expecting anything in return. His family will remember him as someone who loved deeply, gave generously, and made a lasting difference in the lives of many.
He is survived by his sisters, Amanda M. Lusk and Gayle Elizabeth Lusk; his brother, Vincent Lusk; his sons, Xavier Lusk and Noah Lusk; and his daughter, Emma Lusk.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Nell Lusk; his father, Bobby Lusk; and his brother, Antonio Wilson Lusk.
Raphael was loved by so many and will always be remembered. His family finds comfort in knowing that he can now rest in peace, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
