Rhonda Martin-Lee, lovingly known as Rhoni, was born in Torrance, California, on August 12, 1965, and passed away in Menifee, California, on October 4, 2026, due to diabetes.
Rhoni was a warm, loving, and empathetic person whose sweetness touched the lives of those around her. She was caring and compassionate, with a strength that came through whenever she needed to fight for herself and those she loved. She faced difficult times in her early life and ongoing health challenges, yet she never lost the warmth and kindness that made her so special.
Rhoni worked as a primary school teacher for several years and had a wonderful way with children. The little ones would light up when she spoke to them, reflecting the care and warmth she brought into her work and her relationships.
She had a deep love for animals, especially puppies and kittens. One of her family's most cherished companions was their little Pug, who was loved as their baby. Rhoni's love for animals was an important part of who she was, and she hoped to be remembered for the love she gave to her daughter, her partner, and the little animals she cared for.
One of the most meaningful parts of Rhoni's life was the home she helped create. As her partner shared, he provided a house for her to live in, but she gave him a home. He also shared how much joy and love came from the beautiful daughter who became his daughter, too.
Rhoni is survived by her daughter, Chelsea Martin, and her sweetie and partner, Bill Warkany. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jayne Martin, and her father, Russell Lee.
A Celebration of Life for Rhoni is planned for January 30, 2027, in Menifee, California, for family and close friends. For details, please contact Bill at wwarkany@gmail.com.
In honor of Rhoni's love for animals, those who knew and loved her are invited to consider making a donation in her name to the ASPCA, iPawrescue.org, or a local animal shelter.
Rhoni will be remembered for her loving heart, her tenderness toward children and animals, and her quiet strength through life's challenges. The home she created, the love she gave her family, and the kindness she carried throughout her life will remain cherished by those who knew and loved her.
