With heavy hearts we share the passing of Robert Lee Scott on May 7, 2026.

Robert was born in Fresno, California to Elizabeth and Thomas Scott on January 21, 1949.

He was the oldest and survived by his sisters and brother, Wendy Scott Hosoda, Nancy Scott McFarland, Tommie Scott Giffen, and Wes Ward.

Dr. Robert Lee Scott-affectionately known as Bob-was a graduate at University of the Pacific (UOP) School of Dentistry in San Francisco.

He graduated from Bullard High School in Fresno, California in 1969 before attending UOP.

Following his dental education, he served as a dentist in the U.S. Army.

He later ran his own private practice in Kansas City, Missouri and practiced in San Diego and Palm Springs, California. Dr. Scott passed away at the age of seventy-seven.

In accordance with Robert’s wishes, he was cremated and laid to rest at Miramar National Cemetery in San Diego, California. No formal service is scheduled at this time. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
