Robert Prince passed away on July 19, 2026, in Houston, Texas, following a hemorrhagic stroke. He was born on May 29, 1953, in Corsicana, Texas.

Robert built a long career working for HL&P, Reliant, NRG, and ERCOT. Outside of work, he enjoyed hunting and fishing whenever he had the opportunity. He also spent several years umpiring with TASO. Above all, Robert cherished time with his family and took great joy in watching his granddaughters grow into beautiful young women.

Known as a gentle giant, Robert always put his family first. He believed that true friendships were built on quality rather than quantity, and he was a dependable presence for those who knew him. One of his proudest accomplishments was sharing the life lessons he learned with his son, Brian.

Robert would want to be remembered as a devoted husband and dependable father who worked tirelessly to provide for his family.

He is survived by his son, Brian Prince; his daughter-in-law, Rebecca Prince; and his granddaughters, Acie Prince and Keegan Prince.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Debbie Prince; his father, Ethan Prince; and his mother, Iris Prince.

Robert will be remembered with love for his dedication to his family, his strong work ethic, and the lasting impact he made on those who knew him.
