Ronald Perez was born on January 13, 1968, in San Bernardino, California, and passed away on September 7, 2026, in River Oaks, Texas.

Ron loved riding his motorcycle and, in nice weather, was always looking for friends to ride with. He was an avid reader who enjoyed learning about historical events. He also loved cats, considering them his babies and doing anything for them. Above all, Ron loved his family and friends.

Ron was employed by ATS as an electronic technician and worked as a metrologist, a position involving precise measurements. He enjoyed his work and the people he worked with very much.

Ron valued his friendships and kept in touch with friends from high school. He was stoic and dependable and considered being on time very important. He was proud of his service to his country and his accomplishments in the U.S. Army. Ron served during Operation Desert Storm and received several awards, including two Bronze Stars and the Army Good Conduct Medal. He was also proud of the work he contributed throughout his career.

Ron wanted to be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was honest and to the point, and he was always there for his friends and those he loved.

He is survived by his father, Ramiro Perez; his mother, Maria Lawrence; his nephew, Jonathan Perez; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Ramiro Ray Perez.

A Mass with ashes present will be held at St. Ann Catholic Church, 100 SW Alsbury, Burleson, TX 76028, at 10:00 a.m. Interment of ashes will follow at Dallas National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX, at 2:30 p.m.

Ron will be remembered for his love of family and friends, his devotion to his cats, his love of riding and learning, his dependable nature, and his dedicated service to his country.
