With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Shannon Arlean Parker, who passed away on September 4, 2026, in San Bernardino, California. She was born on December 22, 1983, in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Shannon was a devoted mother whose greatest joy in life was spending time with her children. She loved singing, going on adventures with her sister, and had a special place in her heart for animals.
Those who knew Shannon understood that she was quiet at first, but once she got to know someone, her funny, silly, and witty personality shined through. She was intelligent, thoughtful, and remarkably forgiving. She approached life with grace, understanding, and a calm spirit that was rarely shaken. Her resilience and steady nature brought comfort to those around her, and her love for her family was evident in her actions every day.
Shannon would want to be remembered for the deep love she had for her children. She hoped her family would remember her resilience, her calm nature, and the quiet but unwavering love she carried in her heart. Though she did not always express her feelings with words, she showed her love through the care and devotion she gave to those closest to her.
Shannon is survived by her children, Serena and Raymond Mendez; her sister, LeAnn Dukes; her nephew, Eligha Cambric; her brother-in-law, Allen Dukes; Justin Fugate who shared many memorable chapters of her life; and many extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert James Parker, and her mother, Sherry Lee Parker.
Shannon's quiet strength, compassionate heart, and unconditional love for her family will be remembered always. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her children, family, and friends.
