Sharon Lou Carroll passed away peacefully at age 83.Born in Evanston, Illinois, to the late Paul and Willa Mae Bazler, Sharon spent many cherished years in Poway and Rancho Bernardo and later lived in Seattle and Round Rock, Texas. Sharon was loved by family and friends. Her warmth and charm drew people to her throughout her life, surrounding her with a wide circle of devoted companions
A savvy entrepreneur, Sharon built a distinguished career alongside her husband Michael as a successful real estate agent in San Diego. Ever forward-thinking, she founded RB Home Video in the early 1980s, among the first video rental stores in Southern California, and later established California Uniforms, supplying vocational schools throughout the region
Sharon had a lifelong passion for travel. Adventures included a six-week European tour in 1982, nearly 20 years of cherished December visits to Puerto Vallarta, where she delighted in hosting family and friends, and 16 years of RV travel across the United States and Canada with Michael. In retirement, they explored the world together, sailing aboard 11 cruise ships through Australia and the South Pacific, Northern Europe and Russia, Central and South America, Alaska, and the Mediterranean.
Sharon is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Michael, son John of Seattle, daughter JoAnne of Texas, and brother Douglas Bazler of San Diego.
