Sherilyn "Sherry" Nash passed away on June 15, 2026, in Phoenix, Arizona, from natural causes. She was 94 years old.

Born on February 1, 1932, in New Jersey, Sherry lived life as an independent and free spirit, a quality she would want to be remembered for most.

Sherry had many interests and hobbies throughout her life. She loved cats, sewing, and crafts, and was an avid seamstress. Her passion was decorating for all the holidays. She enjoyed reading and journaling her day. Sherry also loved the ocean and beach combing, and she never passed up an opportunity to go shopping.

Throughout her working years, Sherry was employed in retail and food service.

Sherry appreciated meaningful conversation and looked forward to her weekly phone calls with loved ones. One of her favorite topics was current events, especially the weather. She often remarked that she would have liked to have been a meteorologist.

She is survived by her children, Paul Holman, Cyndy Velasquez, Jim King, Charlie King, 14 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her children, Dee Dennings and David King.

In accordance with her wishes, there are no services planned.

Sherry will be remembered for her independent spirit, her love of conversation, and the many simple joys that brought happiness to her life.
