Sherry J. de Lotbiniere Harwood was born on September 24, 1954, in San Diego, California, and passed away on March 6, 2026, in San Diego, California.

Sherry had a love for life and enjoyed traveling, cooking, playing word games, and watching old movies, and surrounding herself with the cheerful color yellow, her favorite. She worked with special needs individuals, something she cared deeply about. She often said she loved “her people,” and those she helped meant a great deal to her.

She had a free-spirited nature and was somewhat of a gypsy at heart, always enjoying meeting new people and sharing conversation. Sherry was known for her special sense of humor and for the kindness and love she showed to those around her.

Her proudest moments were the births of her children and grandchildren, whom she loved unconditionally.

She is survived by her husband, Louis; her daughters, Carrie and Courtney; her grandchildren, Jelani, Jada, Sienna, and Violet; and her stepdaughter, Shaun.

Sherry will be remembered as a loving, generous, and kind person, and as a friend to many.

She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
