Stanton Ivon Parker, 76, passed away on August 8, 2026, in Rancho Mirage, California with his closest loved ones by his side.
Stanton was a strong, kind, quiet, and intelligent man with a gentle spirit. He had a presence that was impossible to ignore. When he came into a room, people would stop talking and listen. He never needed to demand attention; his quiet strength, wisdom, and dignity naturally drew people toward him.
Stanton lived a life defined by dedication to his family, his students, and the communities he served. He began his career teaching in the Criminal Justice Department at California State University, Chico and Butte Community College. In 1985, he opened a pool and spa business, which he operated for 15 years. He later returned to education, becoming a high school teacher before moving into school administration and ultimately serving as a high school principal until his retirement.
Among his proudest accomplishments were marrying the love of his life, Pamela and raising his daughters, Kellee and Kristi, who brought him immense pride. Above all, Stanton would want to be remembered as a wonderful, dedicated husband and father whose love for his family was unwavering.
Stanton is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years: Pamela, his daughters: Kellee Harris (husband Jeremy) & Kristi English (husband Will) and his cherished grandchildren: Brynn Harris, Austin Harris, Parker English and Sloane English.
Stanton's love, wisdom, and humor will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him. He was a man who spoke thoughtfully and carried himself with purpose. His voice may be quiet now, but the wisdom he shared, the lives he touched, and the love he gave will continue to speak for him.
