With both sorrow and gratitude, we announce the passing of Steve Ramos— our beloved brother, uncle and faithful friend, — who left this world peacefully, his heart full and his sense of humor intact.

Steve had a rare and beautiful gift: he could make anyone laugh, often when they needed it most. Whether it was a quick one-liner, a ridiculous impersonation, or a perfectly timed joke during an otherwise serious moment, Steve's humor was more than just entertainment — it was a way of loving people. He knew that laughter was healing, and he shared that gift generously.

A lifelong lover of movies and comic books, Steve found joy in larger-than-life heroes and epic adventures — and he carried that same spirit into his own life. He was a brilliant writer and talented artist, crafting characters and stories that were not only imaginative, but often hilariously offbeat. His creativity was a reflection of how he saw the world: full of absurdity, beauty, and wonder.

Steve was also a man of deep faith. A believer in Christ, he faced the end of his life with remarkable peace and courage. In his final weeks, he was surrounded by family, love, and  fittingly a whole lot of laughter. He met his final moments with the same calm smile and quick wit that had carried him through life.

Though he’s no longer with us, the echoes of Steve's laughter will never fade. They live in our stories, our inside jokes, and in every moment we find joy in life’s weirdness. We pray for his soul to be blessed, and for comfort and peace to cover all who loved him.

Rest easy, Uncle Steve.🕊️✝️
