Sue Phillips was born on November 25, 1949, in Chula Vista, California, and passed away on September 21, 2026, in Chula Vista, California, due to heart disease.

Sue loved gardening and being outside in general. She also enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino. She took great pride in her garden and in making her home beautiful. She also enjoyed cooking different things she thought looked good while watching her favorite shows on the Food Network.

Sue was a very down-to-earth person with a great sense of humor. She was kind and caring, and she was someone you could talk to about anything without judgment. She was someone her loved ones could depend on for anything.

Sue wanted to be remembered as a kind-hearted free spirit.

She is survived by her son, Brian Phillips, and her daughter, Denise Hamblin.

A celebration of life will be held in her honor.

Sue will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her. She will be missed and loved always.
