Obituary

SUSAN ELAINE THOMAS, of League City, TX passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at the age of 75.  Born in Pasadena, November 13, 1950, she resided in Texas her entire life.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Maurine Roberts.  She is survived by her beloved sons, Richard Thomas and Justin Thomas.  She is also survived by her siblings: Richard Roberts, Paula Gardner, Ann McKitrick and Jay Roberts, their spouses as well as many nieces and nephews.

Susan worked for many years as a Professional Legal Assistant for several International Law Firms, retiring in 2019.  A lifelong follower of Christ, she held memberships in several churches during her lifetime.  She served each of these churches faithfully, offering her gifts of leadership, teaching, music, caretaking and relentless presence.

Susan fearlessly loved her sons, her family and her many friends.  She loved to travel, and she loved being near the ocean whenever possible.

A Memorial Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, August 7th.  Visitation will begin at 10:15am and Service will begin at 11:00am at The Vineyard Church - Pearland (2905 Harkey Rd 77584).
