Tonya Cost was born on January 22, 1958, in Borger, Texas, and passed away on April 22, 2026, in Houston, Texas, after a battle with cancer.

Tonya found her greatest joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren, who meant everything to her. She loved gardening, cooking, decorating, and celebrating holidays, always creating a warm and welcoming home for those she loved. She enjoyed movies, vacationing, and making lasting memories with friends and family.

She worked as an Assistant Sales Manager with Non-Ferrous Extrusions, where she was known for her incredible work ethic and dedication.

Tonya had a wonderful sense of humor and a heart that was truly unmatched. She was honest, giving, and deeply charitable, always putting others before herself. She had a natural way of helping those in need and was there for many people during important moments in their lives. She believed in the good in others and in offering second chances, never hesitating to give whatever she could to someone who needed it.

Among her proudest accomplishments were raising her beautiful children and grandchildren, building a loving and welcoming home, and overcoming life’s adversities with strength and grace.

Tonya would want to be remembered as someone who loved deeply and gave freely to her family, friends, and anyone who needed care and support. She had a way of lighting up every room she entered and never met a stranger she couldn’t call a friend. Her laughter and warmth brought joy to everyone around her.

She is survived by her son, Joshua Morrison; her daughters, Kandice Houser and Kathleen Cost; her brother, John Greenway; and many other family members and friends who were touched by her kindness.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Susie Bailey; her sister, Warrenetta Greenway; and her brother, Carroll Morrison.

A truly kind, generous, and loving soul, Tonya will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
