Ulysses Antonio Pabon, dearly loved as a husband, brother, father, and friend, was born on December 4, 1955, in Dade City, Florida. On September 20, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer and kidney failure, he passed peacefully at his home in Riverside, California, spending his final morning hand in hand with his cherished wife.

Ulysses spent much of his early career as a counselor and sales representative, where he earned recognition and awards for his professional achievements. However, his true calling came later, when the Lord led him into pastoring. From that moment forward, his life’s mission was to shepherd others, teaching the Word of God with unwavering passion and dedication.

Teaching the Word of God was not just his calling but his deepest joy. Ulysses had the rare ability to see people through God’s eyes—not as they were, but as they could and should be. His ministry and his life reflected this vision, offering love, hope, and encouragement to everyone he encountered.

Those who knew Ulysses will remember him as a great listener who carefully processed his thoughts and spoke with wisdom. He loved deeply and dearly, embodying patience, compassion, and grace. His presence was steady and comforting, and his words carried both weight and warmth.

While Ulysses won awards during his years in sales, his greatest accomplishments were never measured in trophies or titles. He was most proud of the countless lives he touched—collecting sons and daughters in spirit, though he had none biologically. He became a father to the fatherless, embracing fatherhood with natural grace, pouring love and guidance into those around him.

Ulysses’ greatest desire was to know that he had touched lives and that, because of him, someone came to know Christ. His legacy of faith, love, and spiritual fatherhood lives on through the many who were forever changed by his example and his devotion.

He was preceded in death by his father, his brother, and his mother. He is survived by his devoted wife of 17 years, Margie Pabon; his sister, Teresita; and his three beloved daughters: Charmaine of Portland, Oregon, Christine of Austin, Texas, and Rebecca of Menifee, California. He also leaves behind his cherished grandsons: Tre, Miles, and Max.
