William O'Neil Morrison, lovingly known as Bill, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2026, at the age of 83, surrounded by the love of his family. While our hearts are broken by his loss, we are profoundly grateful for the extraordinary life he lived and the countless memories he leaves behind.
Bill was born on September 15, 1942, in the Philippines to Kenneth Lee Morrison and Angela "Buster" Brown. His life began amid one of the darkest chapters of world history. As an infant, Bill was a survivor of the Santo Tomas Internment Camp in Manila during World War II, where thousands of civilians were held during the war. His survival and the resilience of his family became part of a legacy of strength, courage, and perseverance that would define the way he lived his life.
For the past 32 years, Bill shared a devoted marriage with his wife, Bobbi Sue Reinier Morrison, who was his steadfast partner, best friend, and greatest source of comfort and companionship. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, friendship, and constant support. Their marriage was a beautiful example of enduring commitment, and Bobbi remained faithfully by his side through every season of life.
Bill also shared an important chapter of his life with his first wife, Julie Moran, with whom he raised three children: Margaret (Meg) Morrison Jenner, Molly O'Neil Morrison Tillgren, and William (Neil) O'Neil Morrison Jr. His children remained among his greatest blessings, and he took immense pride in their lives, accomplishments, and families.
Nothing brought Bill greater joy than his family. He was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren: Katie, Mary, Wyatt, Luke, Drew, Emma, and Maggie. Each held a special place in his heart, and he treasured the moments spent watching them grow, celebrating their achievements, and sharing in their lives. He also carried with him the memory of his great-granddaughter, Lorelei, who preceded him in death, and looked forward to the birth of another great-granddaughter later this summer.
Bill lived life with passion and adventure. He had a deep love for the outdoors and found some of his greatest happiness hunting, fishing, and boating. The ocean was one of his favorite places, bringing him peace, excitement, and many treasured memories. He also loved spending time at June Lake, a place that remained dear to him throughout his life.
Bill's enthusiasm for fishing was legendary among family and friends. One of his proud accomplishments was being featured on the cover of Western Outdoor News, a testament to his skill and dedication to the sport he loved. His adventures extended far beyond California, including an unforgettable safari in Africa, where he experienced the beauty and wonder of the natural world he so deeply appreciated.
A tireless worker throughout his life, Bill believed in earning success through dedication, determination, and integrity. He started out humbly as the owner of his own business, The Huntington Health Club in Arcadia, before pursuing a distinguished career in commercial real estate. He spent more than 35 years with Heger Industrial, where he was honored as "Broker of the Year" an extraordinary 13 times. He later concluded his career with Kidder Mathews, where he continued to build lasting relationships and earn the respect of colleagues and clients alike. He was also a proud member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors. Bill led by example and was a man who understood the value of hard work, perseverance, and honesty. He was also a proud patriot who loved his country deeply and held strong convictions about the freedoms and values upon which America was built.
Those fortunate enough to know Bill will remember his warm smile, loyalty, quick wit, and generous spirit. He faced life’s challenges with grace and determination, inspiring others through his resilience and steady character. Whether offering advice, sharing stories from his many adventures, lending a helping hand, or simply being present when someone needed him, Bill had a gift for making others feel valued and cared for.
Although he is no longer with us in body, his spirit lives on in the hearts of his beloved wife, Bobbi; his children, Meg, Molly, and Neil; his cherished grandchildren, Katie, Mary, Wyatt, Luke, Drew, Emma, and Maggie; his sister, Sharon Davis (Morrison); extended family; and dear friends.
Bill’s life was a testament to resilience, devotion, adventure, and family. He taught those around him the value of loyalty, hard work, and courage. His memory will forever remain a source of strength and inspiration.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Bill's memory to the Hoag Hospital Foundation, whose compassionate care and support meant so much to Bill and his family.
Bill's life was a gift, his memory a treasure, and his love a blessing that will remain with us always. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
