Frequently Asked Questions
Why should I use you over another direct cremation provider?
Our 5-star reviews, flexible pricing with no hidden fees and compassionate team truly set us apart from other cremation options. We are proud to provide the best value at the most fair price with highly personalized service. Additionally, we are the only direct cremation provider who can help plan a personalized memorial service. We do this all without any upsells, and without the added stress of in-person meetings.
What do I do after my loved one has passed?
The first thing to do is contact our Care team at (844) 606-3210. Your Care concierge will be able to walk you through the process, answer any questions, and collect the brief information needed for us to get started. Our team will do everything they can to make the funeral arrangement process as simple as possible. Once we have those initial details, we'll transfer your loved one into our care and begin the process of arranging a cremation. We'll guide you through the paperwork that must be completed, and keep you constantly informed of what's happening with your loved one. In parallel, we can work with you to plan the right memorial for your loved one.
Do I have to pay upfront?
For immediate need cremation, we collect payment prior to pickup. However if your loved one is referred through a hospice provider, we are able to collect payment after pickup. For memorial services, payment is collected once you have confirmed the date and venue.
Do you offer burials?
Unfortunately, no. At this time we only offer cremations, which is what the majority of Americans opt for.
Will the body be present at the funeral/memorial?
We do not offer this at this time. Depending on the timing of your memorial service, you may be able to have the urn and ashes present. That said, many families choose to instead focus on including photos and favorite items at the service instead of having the ashes present.
Are you able to collect any time?
Yes we can help anytime day or night - our team is standing by 24/7. Sometimes timing will be dictated by the location of collection, for example certain hospitals will have dedicated collection times that we must adhere to. Needless to say, we will always work with you to collect as soon you are ready, and will keep you informed.
