Dan was a man of profound knowledge and devotion to his family. He had a quiet way of making people laugh—especially his sister and cousins, who could always count on him for a clever remark.
A lifelong history buff, he served as the unofficial family historian, keeping track of stories, facts, and moments others might forget.
In his 40s, he went to university to become a pharmacist—a career he took great pride in. The care he brought to his work was matched only by the care he showed to those around him.
He lived life with humor, drive, and heart in the beautiful California sunshine.
He is deeply missed by his sister, Josephine Lewi; his niece, Jennifer Lewi, and her husband, Matthew Stevenson; and their daughters, Alex and Izzy, who will remember him with love and gratitude.
