Efren R. Quintana Obituary

July 9, 1925 - December 6, 2024

Efren R. Quintana, a dedicated World War II veteran, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2024, with his wife by his side at the remarkable age of 99. Efren proudly served in the United States Army during World War II, courageously participating in the Battle of Bastogne. He was honorably discharged on May 7, 1946, returning home to Wilmington, California, to begin the next chapter of his life. In May 1949, Efren married the love of his life, Elisa Cardona. Their marriage was a testament to love and devotion, spanning an extraordinary 75 years. Together, they built a beautiful life, Efren worked tirelessly to provide for his family.

Efren’s legacy is carried on by his beloved wife Elisa, their daughter Rita (Mike), sons Efren (Piper) David (Diane), as well as his 8 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. A service to honor Efren’s life will be held at Saint Margaret Mary Catholic Church on January 6, 2025 at 11:00 AM.  Efren’s unwavering dedication to his family, country, and community will forever inspire those who knew him. He will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered.
