With profound sadness and deep love, we announce the passing of Leann Velene Abrom, who left this world on April 15, 2025.

Born in the vibrant heart of Belize City, Belize, Leann brought light, laughter, and unwavering love to everyone she touched.  

‍

Leann was known for her boundless energy, her fierce love for children, and a sense of humor that could light up any room. A natural comedian, she never missed a chance to make someone smile—whether through a witty remark, a playful story, or a perfectly timed joke. Her joy was contagious, and her presence was unforgettable.

Above all, Leann lived for her children. She did it all for them—every sacrifice, every triumph, every moment. Her three beloved children, Shonique Cherrington, Alexandra Halliday, and Tyjeron Halliday, were the center of her world. She poured her heart into raising them, guiding them with strength, grace, and so much love. Her granddaughter, Nadyah Mclemore, brought her immense joy and pride, and Leann cherished every moment spent with her.

She was also a loyal sister to Enid, Elsa, Llona, Lisa, Emil, and Elizabeth, each of whom held a special place in her heart. Her family was her foundation.

Leann had a flair for shopping, always stepping out in style. Whether she was picking out the perfect outfit or treating herself to something special, shopping was her way of celebrating life’s little joys.

Leann’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and service. She gave selflessly, loved deeply, and lived fully. Her memory will live on in every giggle, every act of kindness, and every child she ever cared for.
