Michael "Mike" Sean Murphy, 63, passed away on April 22, 2025, in Northridge, California. His vibrant spirit and infectious humor left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Born on August 16, 1961, in Santa Monica, California, Mike grew up surrounded by the sun-soaked beaches and lively culture of Southern California. He pursued his education at Northridge College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business. His academic achievements laid the foundation for a life filled with both professional success and personal fulfillment.

Mike had a deep love for baseball, often spending countless hours immersed in the game he cherished. His passion for traveling took him to many places, where he embraced new experiences with open arms and an ever-present sense of adventure. A devoted fan of The Beatles and music in general, Mike found joy not only in listening but also in playing guitar. Music was a constant companion throughout his life, often serving as the backdrop to his many humorous antics.

Those who knew Mike will remember him most for his boundless goofiness and his unwavering commitment to making others laugh. Whether it was through making up funny songs or simply being his playful self, Mike had a unique gift for lifting spirits and reminding everyone not to take life too seriously. Mike’s memory will be lovingly cherished by his daughter Bridget. He is also remembered fondly by his siblings Megan, James, and Colleen; his nephews George, Andrew, and Daniel; and his nieces Virginia, Caitlin, Francesca, and Sabrina. He now reunites with his beloved parents, Jack and Charlotte.
